Most visitors will drive quite conservatively when going to a new country, which is a smart move because driving carelessly can have grave consequences, especially when it comes to the smaller narrow roads in many of the tourist areas across the country.
Rush hour in the UK can be particularly busy in many towns, and for those who are unfamiliar with driving in the UK, avoiding driving at these times can be a good move, as there will be large numbers of cars on the roads, and drivers will naturally get more frustrated driving at this time of day. In quieter areas, this may not be quite as bad, but in the cities it can be very busy indeed.
